  I worked as part of team to ensure the safety and care of all students living in residence at Glasán (GMIT). My work included: leading activities such as sport, music and art in order to give visiting students a taste of Irish culture and keep them entertained throughout their stay. I was also responsible for nightly roll calls to ensure all students were following curfew, and liaising with group leaders and engaging with individual students to ensure all needs were met.Evening Outings/Weekend Trips - this involved co-ordinating with bus drivers, foreign group leaders and students, ensuring safety and enjoyment of students. I also met new students arriving at Galway Bus Station and helped them settle in to their accommodation. Show less
