      Accountable for all IT services required by Business Development (including Global Power and Energy Ventures); Exploration Production Americas Headquarters; Africa, Asia, and Middle East Headquarters; and Finance and Performance Analysis. Supervised a group of 10-12 senior IT professionals and 3 contract employees, and managed a $5MM annual budget. Managed the team providing IT support to new ventures in Vietnam, Syria, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, Saudi Arabia, Trinidad, Taiwan and Turkey. Worked in tandem with Petrozuata leadership to update and refine the overall, across-the-business integrated IT strategy. Provided IT support for the production of extra-heavy crude oil, transportation, the upgrading of the heavy crude into synthetic crude, and headquarters activities. Managed a workforce that included 24 employees (national and expatriate) and 70–80 contractors. Accountable for an IT budget of $19MM (including projects).Transitioned IT support at Petrozuata from project-based, decentralized groups, to an integrated, enterprise-wide support organization. Developed and implemented a sourcing strategy. Implemented an IM Steering Committee, and a Project Management Office. Provided management oversight of successful projects including the IT requirements for the Upgrader startup, SAP migration to an Enterprise edition, implementation of the IT infrastructure for a new corporate headquarters (325+ employees at the HQ), migration to a common operating environment (XP, W2003 Server, Exchange Server 2003) and numerous other projects.After Conoco and Phillips merged, led the Petrozuata IM organization's synergy initiative, transitioning IT into a Shared Services organization (providing IT services to both Petrozuata and Ameriven).Served as a Director and Treasurer for Colegio Internacional de Puerto La Cruz (an American school in Puerto La Cruz). Managed a team of over 30 employees and over 50 contractors, with a direct expense budget of $28MM and oversight of a $21MM capital budget.Accountable for Lower 48 IT Project Portfolio Management and AFE (Authority for Expenditure) process. Implemented tactical and strategic programs by defining, developing, and delivering solutions. Provided IT management oversight for successful Lower 48 projects including Windows 7 migration, a business policy and procedure management system, business project reporting system, and greenhouse gas reporting. Managed teams that initiated multi-year programs to replace existing reserve management and well workflow systems.Coordinated L48 IT budget and financial reporting, IT Strategy, and Application Portfolio Management. The Lower 48 Operations Reporting project was part of the Burlington Resources IT Integration program into ConocoPhillips. Led the $2.8MM project that designed and developed an Operational Data Store, the computations for estimated daily volumes, and the reporting capability. Approximately 50 individuals worked on the project in some capacity. A new support model was designed and the support team was implemented in the Field Data Management organization. After the successful implementation, the business units confirmed benefits of $69MM. Led the L48 Telemetry project that defined the conceptual design for near-term and future wireless connectivity to the COP network for field locations in the Lower 48.
