Based on the antibiotic sensitivity tests, suitable antibiotics were recommended to veterinarian and animal health technicians.• Performed biochemical, hematological, and fecal tests for the diagnosis of animal diseases.• Conducted surveillance and outbreak investigations of livestock and poultry diseases, such as highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI), FMD, Bovine TB, brucellosis, salmonellosis, PPR, rabies, etc.• Performed necropsies of poultry and livestock for diagnosis or sample collection.• Compiled and published monthly epidemiological data of animal diseases of the Naikhongchhari upazila of Bandarban district of Bangladesh.• Participated in planning, monitoring, and evaluation of animal health programs.• Worked as an instructor to train veterinarians, animal health technicians, public, and farmers.• Wrote progress reports and technical reports of the laboratory. • Presented laboratory findings in regional and national seminars, workshops, and conferences.• Organized animal health camps in rural areas of Naikhongchari upazila under Bandarban district of Bangladesh.• Management of animal health related projects.       Field Epidemiology Training Program for Veterinarians (FETPV) is a unique 2-year skill-based program for veterinarians working under the Department of Livestock Services. The Department of Livestock Services (DLS), Chattograrn Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU), and Global Health Development (GHD) are jointly offering the FETPV program. The vision of FETPV is to provide quality field-based applied epidemiological education and training for the development of a skilled veterinary fleld workforce who will contribute to reducing health threats in the animal population. It will also provide One Health skills to work at human-animal and environmental interface to promote health and reduce the disease burden. The program's primary objective is to enhance the epidemiological capacity of the national veterinary services to prevent, detect and respond to infectious diseases at the national, regional, and community levels.
