  FETPV Fellow

  Field Epidemiology Training Program for Veterinarians (FETPV) is a unique 2-year skill-based program for veterinarians working under the Department of Livestock Services. The Department of Livestock Services (DLS), Chattograrn Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU), and Global Health Development (GHD) are jointly offering the FETPV program. The vision of FETPV is to provide quality field-based applied epidemiological education and training for the development of a skilled veterinary fleld workforce who will contribute to reducing health threats in the animal population. It will also provide One Health skills to work at human-animal and environmental interface to promote health and reduce the disease burden. The program's primary objective is to enhance the epidemiological capacity of the national veterinary services to prevent, detect and respond to infectious diseases at the national, regional, and community levels.
