  Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL), Kochi is one of the major R&D laboratories of Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). NPOL stands out for it's outstanding achievements and contribution in the areas of SONAR research. During this intern I received an idea of research specific work. As part of my intern I was exploring the features and properties of GammaRay Tool by analyzing software of various complexity developed using Qt. GammaRay is a free software introspection tool for Qt applications developed by KDAB. Leveraging the QObject introspection mechanism it allows us to observe and manipulate our application at run-time.The internship has exposed me to various fields of analyzing,testing, and a little bit of developing in Qt.   I worked on three major projects during my time at Aspire System. I worked on front-end and back-end development for TOEFL and IELTS web applications for the offshore project. In the same project, I also developed new functionality and fixed bugs. In Sri Lanka, I was able to undertake onsite work where I designed the user interface for a healthcare online application as well as its connectivity with the server. Furthermore, I was working on an internal project, where I completely revamped the front-end components and developed the visualization charts. Show less
