      Programme for Research on Poverty Alleviation (PRPA), Grameen Trust was committed to research for transforming the lives of the poor and the powerless. • Assisted 20 young researchers in defining a research agenda that is relevant to the grassroots in terms of the problems and constraints that they face.• Evaluated and reviewed 50 research proposals • Identified people within the government, non-government organizations, and other institutions, both in Dhaka as well as throughout the country, to participate in research on poverty alleviation and the poor. • Developed creative ways of disseminating research findings to policy makers and the people. • Monitored research projects: the work involved regular field trips to the villages, interacting with researchers and rural people on the issues being studied and• Organized more than 20 training workshops on research methodologies.       I am accomplishing the following tasks: GM (Environment and Climate Change Unit)Monitor and Supervise Green Climate Fund (GCF), Adaptation Fund (AF), and other Development Partner-funded projectsLook after other Environmental Issues Team Leader of Low Income Community Housing Support Project, USD 18 million funded by the World Bank• Coordinating partnerships with 7 NGO_MFIs and National Housing Authority. • Maintaining fund, reporting, and other due-diligence activities with a development partner. • Hired, trained, and supervised a team of 50 staff.• Prepared a tool for affordability analysis for assessing the eligibility of a housing loan.• Prepared a guideline for sustainable housing.• Disbursed USD 10 million for constructing and improving around 3000 houses.Team Leader of Training Unit of PKSF [completed on Oct 2021]• Organised 225 batches of training for NGO_MFIs staff.• Developed 11 modules on finance, HR, Training of Trainers and other development issues. • Hired, trained and supervised a unit of 10 staff.Team Member of Project Evaluation Committee and Accreditation Process• Assessed 200 projects related to sustainable enterprise, value chain development and agriculture.• Helped PKSF to be a National Implementing Entity (NIE) of Green Climate Fund (GCF). • 6 pro-poor innovative ideas were piloted as an innovation officer of PKSF. Show less • Due Diligence: Managed due diligence processes (financial and legal), project management, conducting monitoring and supervision through regular inspection of the micro credit operations of a number of selective micro credit financed institutions, playing a decision-making role in sanctioning loan amounts of the 10 Partner Organizations and made financing decision based on their time-to-time performance evaluation, conducted the management audit as and when it requires.• Appraisal: Made appraisals to 27 proposals submitted by the applicant NGOs, to be POs of PKSF.Contracting and Networking: Accomplished more 120 loan contracts signed between the Partner Organizations and PKSF and built network with different development agencies.[ Show less
