  As head lifeguard, I assisted pool managers in daily operations and pool maintenance to ensure the safety and well being of the public. Each day I recorded or assisted the daily deposits of Marion Pool, which ranged from $200 to $7,000. I also served as a swim lesson instructor for four years, focusing on developing swimming skills of children from age 6 months old to 12 years old.

  Choreographer

  For Artstarts, I was the choreographer for the non-profit organization focused on promoting and providing arts opportunities to Southern Illinois youth. For each show, I choreographed a minimum of ten routines focusing on challenging choreography for casts 100+ students varying in age. Some of the shows include Cats, Oliver, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

  Choreographer for Teen, Pre-Teen, and Princess Pageants

  Working for the Miss Illinois Scholarship Association, I was able to create my own choreography and teach it to the pageant participants over a week long pageant week. I was responsible for choreographing the opening numbers and walking patterns for the teen, pre-teen, and princess divisions of the pageant. Serving as choreographer, I was also a member of the production team, which allowed me to assist and coordinate aspects of pageant, from production to execution.

  Student Worker

  For the Communications office, I provided recommendations on College of Business events, communication tools, and marketing supplies. My responsibilities also included intensive research for the College and the arrangement of photo shoots. Working with the Alumni Affairs group, I generated marketing techniques from a students' perspective for the Business Alumni Mentors Program as well as constantly worked on obtaining more alumni information.

  Financial Planning & Analysis Intern

  As a financial planning and analysis intern for defense, I was responsible for assisting the Financial Controls team in long range business planning to determine target financial goals. Also, I assumed responsibility for the development of EAC reports for defense contracts focusing on reporting cost and earnings. I also created a net asset resource and presentation to present to management focusing on an overview of net assets and providing recommendations on how to improve the value.
