      Mucho driving burned me out. St. Pete to Lakeland every day (54 miles). Sometimes inspections in Tampa, Lutz, Winterhaven, Riverview, Astatula, Umatilla, Naples, Ft. Meyers, etc. And to be real honest, me and the GPS in my truck didn't get along; seems I was always speeding to get to my next destination! I really liked working at the City of Lakeland, their Building Department and Inspectors were great! But it was getting up at 5am to drive 54 miles through Tampa just to get there and start driving to do inspections, then another 54 miles home through Tampa! Sometimes I got home at 8pm. Just in time to go to bed so I could get up at 5am again.Sometimes I think that I'd like to get out and inspect again but I'm too old for that kind of crazy. I was eating it up for a while but you need to be younger to maintain that pace and deal with the @#**!@ GPS. Show less
