  Two week long field work in San Salvador (Tropical ecosystem) comparing the biogeography of the west and east coast. Several scuba diving trips were taken to transect the ecology of coral reefs, marine aquatic organisms, and their interactions. Some other field related work involved water chemistry analysis performed on hyper-saline lakes, and a study on mangrove root ecology in a tropical estuary.
