  This project involved a GUI design in Java with a database at the back to store useful information about, clients, orders, students, events, staff etc. This desktop application is used to digitise information and upgrade the business`s paper based system where cross references were impossible. The relational database management system (RDBMS) helped to overcome this problem and now retrieving information is much faster, secure and more reliable than it used to be. The designed database is also used for various queries that the business required such as to show the staff members who are booked for a certain event, or show the student of a specific class. The GUI has a lot of user warning and error messages embedded to make the system more user friendly. The interface also includes its own date time picker.   This was to create a secure login system for users to access their web space. This system was created using PHP scripts and HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The web system asked the users to enter their credentials that were saved in a MySQL database. The prospective users had the option to register so they can login and access their web space. Once the user successfully logged in, he/she was able to do the following: make/delete directories, upload files, delete files.
