  Unit Chief of the Technical Training Unit of the Office of Investigative Technology. Develops training programs for Agents and Technicians assigned to Technical Operations Groups. Researches emerging technologies used by Drug Trafficking Organizations and how they can be used by law enforcement officers. I developed the Electronic Surveillance Course for all DEA personnel assigned to Technical Operations Groups and the Collateral Technical Agents Course for Agents assigned to offices that do not have a Technical Operations Group at their location. I trained over 100 Agents, Technicians, and Task Force Officers in 2018. I coordinated in conjunction with the DEA Digital Forensic Laboratory Cellebrite training to certify 20 Agents to perform forensic examination of mobile devices. I was a member of the Fentanyl Working Group developing policies and procedures to be utilized by all law enforcement agencies within the US for dealing with this extremely dangerous chemical substance. I researched and defined the Personal Protective Equipment to be utilized by all DEA personnel. I updated and wrote the policy for the Technical Investigative Program within DEA. I developed and wrote the policy for Over-The-Air (OTA) surveillance operations in accordance with Department of Justice policies. I wrote in conjunction with our Asset Forfeiture Unit the policy for seizing, storing and disposing of firearms within DEA. Show less Group Supervisor of a Technical Operations Group in the New Jersey Field Division. I supervised 15 employees and was responsible for over $6 million in technical surveillance equipment. The Technical Operations Group provides electronic surveillance to include the interception of electronic communications, installation of clandestine video cameras and other electronic surveillance devices and tracking in support of the New Jersey Division's criminal investigations. I supervised over 500 video camera installations, over 400 wire taps, over 400 forensic examinations of mobile devices, over 180 GPS tracker installations and over 200 OTA surveillance operations.
