Focus is on the nanomaterials, nanostructures and advanced materials — including two-dimensional (2D) materials like graphene and MoS2. Performed combined electrical and optical characterization of 2D materials which revealed the materials quality and benchmark the 2D materials for further device applications.

      Working on the fabrication and characterization of 2D materials on silicon based waveguide-integrated photodetectors. Low-loss waveguides are designed and fabricated using nanofabrication equipment in ISO 5 cleanroom environment. Designing is performed using Matlab and Lumerical software, while waveguides are fabricated using electron beam lithography, plasma etching, thin-film deposition, and characterized using SEM, profilometry, Ellipsometry and custom-built waveguides characterization setup.
