      • Research and development lead on project to automate computer network mapping from PCAP files. The network mapper performed host identification, open port mapping, OS fingerprinting and content extraction. Mapping results and relationships were stored in a Neo4j graph database.• Responsible for system administration and network engineering for a restricted program. The network consisted of 200 servers, 50 workstations, 10 Cisco switches and routers, and 2 BlueArc NASes with over 500TB storage each. Developed and documented the system/security architecture for clients and the LAN/WAN network. • Won first place in the 2012 International DC3 Digital Forensic Challenge as a member of a four-person team. Contributions included Volume Shadow Copy (VSC) analysis, PCAP analysis, Windows registry parsing, and NTFS/exFAT filesystem forensics. The competition attracted more than 1,200 teams from 53 countries.• Software developer in an Agile environment. Responsible for maintaining and developing the software enterprise for a restricted program. Optimized software performance, enhanced software deployments and assisted system developers with a DevOps solution.• Lead Deployment Engineer for the NATO NCIRC program. Deployed new cybersecurity system to four NATO sites. Configured equipment, performed in-depth troubleshooting, briefed management and customers in a fast pace environment.       * Led a team of over 20 system engineers, software developers and business analysts at the Defense Language Institute, a global university of 7.000 students with extensions in Germany, Hawaii and Washington DC. I was responsible for over 10 IT and Cyber Security projects and I led the team through the coronavirus pandemic, while improving the security posture and maintaining software development. Performed performance reviews, hiring, mentoring and coaching to create a high performing collaborative work environment.* Led the DevOps team during a migration from an on-premise learning management system (LMS) to Canvas, a Software As a Service cloud based LMS. Wrote code to implement Oath 2.0 API calls and helped the team build custom on premise LMS applications that interacted with Canvas running in the cloud through an LTI interface.* Successfully reduced the number of critical security vulnerabilities from thousands to less than one hundred. Improved coordination with cybersecurity and the patching procedures to meet the RMF (Risk Management Framework) Requirements. Upgraded end of life Windows and Linux operating systems to supported versions. Worked with cybersecurity to mitigate the SolarWinds, Exchange and Log4j exploits.Successfully brought the end to the LEN network, a project that lasted over 5 years. The project involved migrating software, databases and user data and required coordination with cybersecurity and CIN (networking).* Successfully deployed MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) of SIR Enrollment, Scheduling, Grades, IMS 2.0 and DLI-W to production.
