      Project management intern

      Through this role, I lived in rural Kenya and collaborated with my team, the government, and the community to develop, implement, and analyze the impact of the Government of Kenya's Trachoma Awareness and Prevention Program. We designed and implemented the survey and analyzed the data to develop a baseline assessment to assess the effectiveness of this intervention.

      I provide project management expertise for TB programming globally specializing in US government funded programs (contracts and grants) in addition to providing interim deputy chief of party support for project start up and close out. In my role as the project administrator/project manager I monitor work plan development and budgets, managed donor relations and adherence, monitor deliverables, and draft reports and proposals. I provide backstopping support to my projects by ensuring that I am fully aware of all contractual and legal obligations and bridging the contractual obligations with the technical needs to appropriate implement programs.
