  headspace Broome is an early intervention youth mental health service for young people aged 12-25 years. The service provides counseling and a range of primary and allied health services to support young people with mild to moderate mental health concerns and substance use issues.In my role as a Youth Mental Health Professional, I work as a therapist, providing front line clinical support and direct clinical interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team. I provide case support for my clients by helping clients access a range of services, that may include referrals to supporting agencies, such as AOD support, legal or housing. I also act as an advocate to support young people and assist them to identify their own treatment goals. I also provide clinical support alongside the Social and Emotional Wellbeing SEWB Youth Engagement Officers and provide support for Social and Emotional Wellbeing programs such as the Hey Dad! Indigenous Young Fathers program and Aboriginal Mental Health First Aid. Show less
