      The internship was based on a Thales (Aliena Space) project named Thermam where a satellite heat pipe is being design.-Analyzed mechanical properties of 3D printed ASi10Mg under different parameter such as powder, machine configuration (laser's power, pattern, speed and the heat inside the machine) and the size of the piece printed.- Collaborated with commercial 3D printing companies to meet the mechanical requirements-Developing a heat treatment (quenching + aging and aging solely studied) for our specific alloy and design-Explained the measured mechanical properties from the analysis of the specimen (SEM, TEM, EBSD) Show less
