      Activities and Societies: I attended many different kinds of students organizations in Beijing Institute of Technology. And the one I like most in the association leader experience in Youth Volunteers Association. Actually, I am the founder of this organization and it is one of my achievements at that time. Now this organization has been developed into a really popular volunteer organization in the university. In Beijing Institute of Technology, I got a Bachelor Degree of Economics after four years' study. And during that four years, every semester, I got scholarship, which ranged from first-class scholarship to second-class scholarship.

      Activities and Societies: Member of OLMA( Operations& Logistics Management Association) Master in Business Logistics Engineering is a special major in Ohio State University. To say that I mean it is a program opened by both Fisher Business College and College of Engineering, so that in this program I can not only get logistics related knowledge from business aspect, but also can get knowledge from engineering aspect. And this help me grow to a logistics professional person with sound engineering thinking and unique business view.

      In the year 2011, Wenya was a part-time intern in ABB China. Wenya did it once per quarter. It was a quarterly project supported by both Logistics Department and Finance Department. In the following please find some details about the work Wenya did over there.􀁸 Reviewed and classified the “Material In-and-Out” Documents and entered related information into computer system, improving the organization tracking efficiency by 6%.􀁸 Sorted, summarized and corrected data errors in Material Tracking System after consulting with Plant Manager, Plant Accountant and Supply Chain Group, which enhanced material tracking accuracy by 8%.       In the three-month intern in China Construction Bank(CCB), Wenya helped the Credit Manager do some routine jobs, which are listed in the following.􀁸 Collected, refined and assessed detailed information from companies’ annual and monthly reports; issued Letters of Credit for more than 100 companies, through CCB’s internal banking system, based on the gathered information.􀁸 Improved working efficiency and processing ability of CCB by 33% through providing loan procedure instructions to customers, and assisting documents preparation and errors correction in the process.􀁸 Organized special events, regular meetings, and exhibition booth to enhance customer relationships as well as increase potential new clients.       As an intern in Airbus China for 8 months, Wenya not only did some routine jobs, but also dealt with lots of challenging jobs. This experience helps Wenya understand company's Financial Operation and do much better cross-function jobs. In the following you can find the job Wenya did over there in detail.􀁸 Drafted “Debt Confirmation and Collection Procedure” after cross-function collaboration with accounting and sales departments, resulting in a 20% decrease in invoice process and a 10% reduction in revenue collection.􀁸 Consolidated Microsoft EXCEL formulas and format for the annual budget, centralizing budget system for the three subsidiaries of Airbus China, and reducing budget integrating time from one day to less than half day.􀁸 Assisted in analyzing and adjusting budget among different departments based on the company’s strategic plan with Naïve Forecast Model and SAP FICO Model analysis.􀁸 Coordinated regular meetings and presented recommendations to senior managers for final budget planning purposes.􀁸 Audited reimbursement documents and corrected errors through communicating with internal and external clients, which led to a 56% decrease in Airbus’s average reimbursement time.       • Involved in a $150M multi-site start-up parts distribution project servicing multiple channels including wholesalers, retailers and e-fulfillment. Operation has complex warehouse automation, various fulfillment methods and sophisticated WMS wave strategies to process diverse orders across 60K item base.• Responsible for cleaning, reviewing, analyzing and interpreting customer’s data profile. Provided suggestions to fill in any data gaps with industry benchmarks and logical assumptions. • Leverage different tools, such as MS SQL, Access and Excel; Created new techniques and macros to reduce turnaround time and increase accuracy of analysis as reliable order profile was required for downstream decisions. • Completed facility sizing and slotting optimization with using a mix of existing and customized tools, including ABC analysis, Item Demand Correlation Analysis and Storage Sizing Tool. • Developed facility layout of all areas including racking, storage, automation and packing using Auto CAD; enhanced internal ‘fulfillment pick optimization model’ and ‘multi-scenario cost model’ through visual basic programing of Excel Macros, increasing the ability to compare costs of various scenarios and improve decision support process. • Regularly met with customer, documented feedback and ensured all requests were prioritized and promptly followed up.       Solution Design lead on complicated deals, with mechanization ( picking towers with sortation system) and automation (mini-load unit picking) involved; Supported traditional implementations ( such as, multi-phase implementation for the largest Tech customer within DHL North America) and high-tech project implementation ( supported all the Vision Picking implementations across DHL North America until now) Operation supervisor in one of DHL Retail facilities (550K sqft) for Peak Season (10 times of normal volume), managing over 300 associates in Packing Department, including Single Order Packing, Multis Order Packing, Gift Wrap Orders, Non-conveyorable Large item Orders, etc. • I implemented a multi-phase operation as a Solution Designer, covering both routine warehousing business and VAS (value added service), in the US. • Double headed in the first Vision Picking (Augmented Reality) pilot launch in North America, as a Solution Engineer and also a project manager. • Project based work, with experiences on different project types (pursuits, renews, re-engineering), and across business sectors (Technology, Retail, Consumer, Life Science, etc.).
