  Served as director of tax for a privately held company in the temporary staffing industry. The company had operations in every state and four foreign countries, and was responsible for the overall tax planning of the entity, and also the coordination of the compliance.During my tenure, I converted the structure from one entity into 13 different entities to capture income, franchise, and unemployment tax savings for the company that yielded an overall savings in excess of $20M per year to the company. In addition, I assisted in the coordination of various federal and state employment tax credits that were generated by the company.I also worked with the 400+ franchisees in the operations and tax structure of their franchise.I also served and was responsible for the tax planning and compliance of the owners of the company and their numerous business interests.
