We served as the support team responsible for taking care of daily jobs and batches for these applications. All the applications have several overnight and intraday autosys batches running for five different entities Securities Limited- SL, Market Limited- ML, London Branch- CB, Europe Limited- EL, Investment Banking-IB in production environment which are monitored and any issue faced are resolved to ensure smooth functioning of the application within client SLA Automation of daily and monthly tasks using Scripting and UNIX tools. The key responsibilities involved are : - Regular communication with clients to ensure the availability of application and meeting their business requirements. - Coordinating with different application teams/Feed Suppliers for smooth the functioning of batches to minimize business impacts. - Analyzing and resolving the issues reported during User Acceptance Testing, business with the help of tickets generated in Peregrine. -Working for the changes in Production and UAT environment through ITSM for permissions and implementation -Taking care of responsibilities of backup jobs, a monthly analysis of batches (Volume Reports) -Preparing fresh environments in UAT for new releases/testing for development teams -Finely tuned application jobs in various batches to improve the overall performance and reduce the total time for completion of batches.
