      Engaged to create and implement a hospitality experience and sponsorship program for commercial insurance, my role evolved to encompass other brands, eventually becoming the lead nationally and manager of a team of 7. Providing decisive leadership in the consolidation of strategy from a state to a national level, I defined and implemented best practice guidelines and maximised activations from sponsorship entitlements for Suncorp’s national sponsorships of the Qantas Wallabies and the Brisbane Lions.•Grew Vero’s reputation for events by establishing the structures, systems, tone and branding for a unique national events calendar optimising the insurance brand’s B2B sponsorships;• Seconded as Acting Vero Brand Manager whilst retaining management of the CI events team, working to articulate brand value and serving as a sounding board to determine future brand direction;• Activated sponsorships through a series of new initiatives, creating bespoke events attended by various sporting talent / brand ambassadors and secured opportunity to brand unique merchandise.       Moving back into general insurance, I was initially appointed as Strategic Relationship Manager for the Australian Insurance Member Services (AIMS) portfolio. Then promoted to lead a national program to pursue growth in the SME sector, I built relationships with SME and International brokerage firms via a creative, segmented approach in partnership with marketing, research and event agencies. With seven direct and ~50 indirect reports, I worked closely with stakeholders across the market to drive mutual revenue growth, establish new partnership agreements and refresh existing ones in proactive response to sector specific regulatory change.• Broadened Vero’s market appeal from large, international brokerage firms to the SME market, repositioning the brand as a thought leader, raising brand awareness through a series of innovative initiatives;• Led the market in strategic partnership governance by working with legal and risk teams to clearly define services for fee, providing clarity to broking partners around regulatory change via the Web Set Go series;• Re-invigorated Vero’s 30-year NIBA sponsorship by developing the Vero Young Brokers Alumni Red Centre Experience, increasing brand awareness and positive broker sentiment.
