I was responsible for the development of an Automated Downtime Collection and Reporting System used on production lines within Value Stream 2 at the manufacturing facility in Newbridge Co. Kildare. To complete this task I was responsible for managing the project within Value Stream 2, developing and designing the collection system, writing the code used (Visual Basic), sourcing and installing the all equipment needed for its installation on specific production lines, and testing and documentation of the system. Parallel to this task, I was also responsible for manual data entry for downtime on a production line, and design and installation of safety display system. Show less

    • Maynooth University

      Jan 2008 - Nov 2014

I worked closely with the data analytics team at Intel (Leixlip, Ireland) to develop a intelligent model management system for anomaly detection algorithms, to be used within their manufacturing facilities. This work fell within the scope of an EU ENIAC funded project, Integrate, which was focused on data mining, statistical analysis, and predictive modelling for a host of semiconductor manufacturing applications. Industrial partners include Intel (Ireland), St Microelectronics (France), Global foundries (Germany), Micron (Italy) and NXP (Netherlands). I was also responsible for managing the Maynooth University’s contribution to this project, and supervising a doctoral research student. Show less
