  Hiscox Insurance outsources a vast amount of their operations to Capita, therefore although I was employed by Capita, I was actually part of the Professional Insurances Scheme Team for Hiscox Insurance. This position involved setting up business insurance policies, making mid-term adjustments, renewing or cancelling policies, and setting up direct debit payments.My highlights at Capita include; taking it upon my own initiative to submit a marketing campaign proposal to the Marketing Director at Hiscox Insurance. This led to a meeting at the head office in London, where we discussed the proposal with their PR and marketing agency, Inferno. This project began my interest in marketing and later led to a career move I have never looked back on. Show less

  At Fishers Solicitors, I acted on behalf of claimants who had been involved in Road Traffic Accidents. The main aspects of my role included; obtaining written admittance of liability from the third party, arranging medical assistance and agreeing financial settlement. I spent a considerable amount of time liaising with my clients, my clients' insurers, medical agencies, the third party insurers and the Motor Insurers’ Bureau.   Nicholls Transport is an SME haulage firm operating throughout the UK and the Benelux Region. Although initially hired as a telemarketer, I quickly progressed on to co-ordinating exhibition stands, sending email campaigns, engaging in face to face meetings and completing RFI's, RFQ's and tender documents. Once a new customer was on board, I would continue to help maintain the customer relationship by monitoring our service levels against KPI's. My highlights at Nicholls Transport include; representing the company at a 3 day business conference in the Netherlands, which was hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and broadcast on BBC South East Today. I also managed to secure a transport contract with a new customer based in the Netherlands, which was worth IRO. £100K per year. Show less
