  • About me

    Having a strong academic grounding in Finance from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Shashank joined the Management Associate (MA) program (the leadership program for MBA graduates) at Citibank where he served as a Business Developer and Relationship Manager within the Commercial Banking division of the bank. This experience at Citibank has exposed Shashank to the breadth of banking products and services as well as a strong understanding of the regulatory environment pertaining to banks and financial institutions in India. After being in Citibank for a little over three years, Shashank joined conservation NGO- World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). At WWF, Shashank seeks to use this experience and network in banking to work with financial institutions, regulators, institutional investors, NGOs and other relevant stakeholders in influencing the financial sector to use their unique power and position to support restoration and not destruction of nature.
