ABSTRACTp14ARF is a tumor suppressor gene which inhibits cell proliferation by the ARF/MDM2/P53 pathway. When p53 is deleted, ARF is still able to limit cell proliferation. In this p53 independent context, I showed that p14ARF specifically interacts with rDNA promoter, inhibits rRNA transcription and ribosome biogenesis via UBF1 and E2F1.RESULTSANDRIQUE L et al, Cell Signalling 2012Ayrault O, ANDRIQUE L et al, Oncogene 2006Ayrault O, ANDRIQUE L et al… Voir plus ABSTRACTp14ARF is a tumor suppressor gene which inhibits cell proliferation by the ARF/MDM2/P53 pathway. When p53 is deleted, ARF is still able to limit cell proliferation.
