  As a team lead, I oversee regular team responsibilities while also guiding new members, and serving as a senior figure within the group. Additionally, I take on extra tasks and support the executive committee in council operations. The decision to join Student Council was a step out of my comfort zone and into the unknown for me. Being in Student Council challenged me to grow as I took on responsibilities such as leading an event planning team or facilitating an event with my peers. One of the most important skills I have learned and am still improving on is how to work in a team to get work done even under stressful situations effectively.
