Advocated for events and resources that 1st year students were looking to organize and access. Updated first year students by email, class announcements, and social media regarding upcoming events and notable developments in the Drama programme. Managed and mentored a team of over 100 volunteer photographers who contributed photos to the newspaper. Organized and hosted recruitment, training, and retention events for the photography team. Spearheaded the production of visuals for the newspaper’s biannual magazine.       Conducted one-on-one interviews with university students to build a social media presence for the Campus podcast. Interviews were centred around various themes e.g. immigration, mental health, academic pressure to elucidate the diversity of students' lived experiences. Recorded and transcribed each interview. Took and processed photos of interviewees that would accompany excerpts from their interviews on Campus' social media pages (Instagram and Facebook).

Attempting to determine if mutations that flu viruses gain while being grown for vaccines yield heterogeneous immune responses in vaccinated populations. Bolster digital modelling and computational research skills that will complement practical skills gained from previous wet lab research experience. Working independently to create a functional simulation, collect and process data, and present the final results.       Prepared patient charts for Bone Health Clinic, a multidisciplinary clinic held once a month at the Hospital for Sick Children in Orthopaedics. Retrieved and filed charts, logged changes using internal electronic database software to keep charts and patient information organized. Used family history questionnaires to construct pedigrees by hand to ensure accurate interpretation of data and increase efficiency of patient visit. Updated charts with important communications and information about previous visits. Shadowed during counselling sessions to better appreciate the role of a genetic counsellor as a liaison between a patient and healthcare services. Gained understanding of genetic diseases, their transmission, inheritance, and management from a healthcare perspective. Show less
