I was in charge of the RF validation of new WWAN high-end notebooks for VAIO of Europe (VOE).In the first phase (2 line-up's), I had to design and execute tests in order to validate an Express card (from Novatel) sold together with the VAIO laptops and a SIM card of T-Mobile in Germany, in the UK and in Austria. This card was 2G, 3G and HSDPA capable. The RF tests have been done using a CMU200 equipment from Rhode & Schwartz. In addition to that field trails have been organized in the targeted countries. Special attention has been brought to configuration management as they were several models of notebooks and several firmwares for the card.In the following phases, I worked on the validation of integrated 3G/HSDPA capable modules (from Option) in the notebooks. For those line-up's additional mobile operators (Orange in France and Telefonica in Spain) came into the picture. I had first to setup a labo: VOE bought an Agilent 8960 equipment and I had to select the anechoic chamber vendor and to select the solution in order to connect the notebooks remotely in the chamber. Using the labo, I could perform RF but also performances tests of the integrated 3G/HSDPA modules (manually or using automated Visual Basic scripts to command the Agilent 8960) in controlled environment. In addition to that I also participated to the preparation of the notebooks for SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) certification done at 7Layers in Germany. Finally I performed also the field trials but limited to Belgium this time. For the field trials home-made tools were developed (based on AT commands) for the driving and the static field tests. Seen the amount of mobile operators, special attention was brought to the reporting and the defect follow-up. Show less

The Energy EPIC Owner is a member of the Energy Tribe of the Proximus Group. The mission of the tribe: empower Proximus Group to reduce energy costs and enhance sustainability through innovative strategies, insightful data, and collaborative efforts. The goal of the tribe: prepare Proximus Group for future market shifts and opportunities, ensuring a sustainable and efficient energy future. As Energy EPIC Owner, I make sure initiatives are followed-up, savings achieved. I manage the energy backlog, have an overview on overall energy reporting, and I am responsible for overall agile governance (agile principles) of the energy tribe. Show less The domain of the Business System Owners (BSO's) within the Network Engineering and Operations department (NEO) is structured in 5 teams. The BSO's are the experts of the IT systems used in the deployment of the copper and fiber networks: they indeed the missing link between the users "talking fibre/copper network" and the IT development teams. As such, they are key stakeholders in the development projects impacting their systems (consolidation of the requirements, UAT, trainings and documentation, change management) and provide also support in production to the users. The portfolio of IT tools covers the complete spectrum of the network rollout activities: design, construction, orchestration/dispatching.As the leader of that domain, beyond the pure managerial activities, I have been involved as stakeholder and through my teams, in two large IT programs, one supporting the rollout of the fiber network and the other aiming to modernize and innovate the IT landscape of the network department. A lot of challenges to align the way of working within the domain (the core of the BSO work tailored to a new Agile framework), the collaboration between the domain and the others players, mainly at user side. Big challenges also in terms of change management and adoption for almost all IT projects. Show less As Associate Program Manager on the Fiber+ development program, I was in charge of the the delivery aspect: follow-up of all the projects (governance, CAPEX release, etc.), coaching of the different project managers, consolidation of the forecasts and control of the budget.I combined this assignment with the role of IT Manager in charge of the IT integration with our construction partners deploying the FttH network in the brownfield zones. This included the operational follow-up as the coordination of all the developments projects within the FIBER+ program having an impact on the construction partners. Show less As Project Manager, I have been first working on medium size IT projects in several domains: roaming (call routing optimization together with BICS), web, service fullfilment mainly in the wholesale area.Since 2013, I am working on a large scale project called Fiber To The Home (FttH). The aim of this project is to deliver triple-play services (Internet, Voice & Television) on a optical fibre connection until the house of the end customer. Getting rid of the copper allows higher bandwidth and better quality of service.Hence, this project is impacting all the business units within Belgacom and has major impacts through all the IT flows (network documentation, selling, ordering, provisioning, repair, etc.).MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS:- Manage a large scale project with numerous stakeholders: structure the project, define work packages for more efficiency and clear ownership.- Within a very concurrential environment (many projects requesting for the same shared resources) and with an innovative product modelling causing major IT impacts, the project team succeeded in delivering an end-to-end solution for the retail and wholesale customers, according to the roadmap defined at program level. At the beginning, the project suffered from a lack of visibility within the IT department so I had to increase the visibility by meeting the team leaders to present the project and its roadmap.- Given the scale of the project, I had to improve the way of working for the defintion of the IT requirements, pushing the business stakeholders for more ownership.- Close follow-up of the numerous IT impacts (up to 30 applications impacted) for each corporate IT release (3 release per year) in order to secure the delivery.- Vendor management: I had to organize weekly meeting to follow the delivery of a new vendor. This is brought me experience in managing a vendor (capacity, escalations,etc.). Show less Belgacom has several IT releases per year. For each release I am working on 2 or more projects at the same time.As Test Manager, I am responsible for the planning and the execution of the integration and the acceptance tests for the projects:- Definition of the Test Strategy- Leading workshops with the users/testers to monitor the preparation of the test scenarios. This includes also the verification of the test coverage, the prioritization of the scenarios, the definition of the acceptance criteria and the planning of the tests execution.- Preparation of the test environment by requesting the test data and following the setup.- Request of the testers coming form the field for the acceptance tests.- Consolidating all the information in the Master Test Plan.- During execution, the reporting of the progress and the follow-up of the defects (using Quality Center) to the project and to the release management.- Respecting the milestones defined in the project management methodology of Belgacom (PMI based) and defined by the release management.I have been involved mainly in technical projects. The biggest projects have been:- Automated diagnosis & repair for the mass-market products.- Migration of the VoIP mass-market and prof-market products of Belgacom covering the ordering & provisioning , the repair, the self-care.
