  At Baptist Behavioral Healthy Center I spent time with patients to become accustomed on how to interact with them. I sat in on psychosocials and watched social workers and therapists evaluate patient’s mental status and history. In addition I sat in on group therapy sessions and watched different social workers and therapists administer a variety of different therapy techniques. I also attended staff meetings in which they determined patients future treatment plans.

  I collected data and did research done under Dr. Christopher Leone and Professor Lee Gainey on Individual differences administered a survey on SONA. Through this I learned SONA, powerpoint, Microsoft Excel skills along with many others.

  At the FURC Research conference I presented research findings by Dr. Christopher Leone and Professor Lee Gainey on Self Monitoring and Close Relationships. This also entailed creating a powerpoint poster including all of the details of the study.
