  Tiffany is leading the SB 1000 assessment. SB 1000 (Lara, Chapter 368, Statutes of 2018) directs the California Energy Commission to assess whether electric vehicle charging station infrastructure is disproportionately deployed by geographical area, population density, or population income level (low-, middle-, and high-income levels). This includes assessing whether direct current fast charging stations are disproportionately distributed and whether access is disproportionately available. CEC staff will evaluate infrastructure deployment annually to identify gaps in charging access and inform future deployments. Show less
