  Bachelor of science sports and exercise science 2:1 with honours
  Activities and Societies: I was elected as a member of the Sports Federation Executive Committee and presented with the prestigious 'Exceptional Service to Sport' award. I represented the University of Essex at football and cricket, coached the women's football team and volunteered as a cricket coach in local schools. I also worked as a team leader in the Students' Union bar and supervised the Freshers' Week Coordinators. Ranked as one of the top four in the country at that time, the Sports and Exercise Science course was exciting, varied and rigorous. It gave me an excellent grounding in the science of sports, how to be analytical, meet deadlines, retain and use detailed information and present information in the most appropriate way. It was a great course and fantastic university, I loved it!
