      Military Policeman Duties included: base security, personnel security and service and security of military aircraft in buildings and on the flight line. Also maintained peace within the entire confines of the military reservation. Through meritorious achievement, I was selected and assigned to the base-commanding General as his personal enlisted aide and bodyguard. Also performed duties in the base traffic investigation division, which included accident investigations, traffic engineering and the operation of Digital Doppler Radar to determine the velocity of motor vehicles. I earned three meritorious promotions to the rank of PFC, Lance Corporal and Corporal. I also earned three Meritorius Masts and numerous letters of appreciation while serving as the NCO in charge of the MCAS El Toro Base Color Guard.
