  The Academic Week of Chemical Engineering (SAEQ) is an event hosted at the Federal Technological University of Paraná - Ponta Grossa Campus. It is considered a reference within the campus itself and attracts the attention of many students from other universities due to the quality of the event. It is a week of activities such as mini-courses, workshops, lectures, etc, offered to the course students. Within the Information Technology area, the main activities developed include: - Registration of meeting minutes;- Management of information and documentation of some bureaucratic parameters;- Management of the system for participants registrations, attendance and issuing certificates; - Organization of the Academic Works Exhibition, one of the highlights of SAEQ, in which students of the course have the opportunity to present scientific their work to the entire academic community.   Organization of a large event (200 participants on average) with technical-academic program for the students of the Chemical Engineering course. Skills in leadership, adaptability, conflict resolution, proactivity and self-management were developed. As Director, the main function is consultive support to the Coordinator Team.

  The chemical, bioactive and toxicity characterization of the extracts of 3 plants was performed, of which 2 are considered of low exploitation degree, revealing promising results for innovation in product development applications.   Valorsul is the company responsible for the treatment and recovery of about 900,000 tons of municipal waste produced per year in 19 municipalities of Lisbon and in the western region of Portugal.Key Responsibilities: • Innovation Management; Scouting of new technologies related to strategic areas in the waste management sector (CO2 capture, green hydrogen, biomethane), digitalization and automation (artificial intelligence) and operational optimization of waste treatment and valorisation facilities; • Coordination member in the Core Team of the corporate Continuous Improvement Program; Currently leading a project to increase the recovery of ferrous metals from incineration slags; • Member of the Organizing Committee of the “Open Innovation Valorsul 2024” Contest;• Supervising a Master’s project on the design of an innovative domestic waste container; • Conducting technical and economic feasibility analysis for a pre-treatment equipment of organic waste.*Merit: Top 3 Finalist in the Mota-Engil Innovation Projects Challenge.
