   Maintaining over 350 Production, UAT and Development Clustered Servers, around 150 instances with 900 databases including 2 TB of VLDB’s. Daily monitor the internal ticketing tool (HP ticking tool), and working the priority and severity of the issue or user request. If there is any production changes, we required Change Control from users as per change management policies, accordingly we schedule on production server at weekends to remediate. Daily monitoring the Jobs and alerts, for monitoring purpose we are using the Tivoli, if at all is there any job failures we need to remediate immediately. Daily interact with developers is there any performance related issue, and work with them, troubleshoot accordingly. As per user request working on database refreshment. Tuning, monitoring and ensuring data security and access control. Daily monitoring all the database backup maintenance job’s and maintaining the disk space accordingly, Monitoring the clustering environment. Troubleshooting (Memory Bottlenecks (log), D-drive space issue, Blocking etc) Coaching and advising team members to accomplish project goals, to meet agreed SLA. Interact with Onshore Team to enhance the servers, having conference call with DB manager, to report weekly activities accordingly, If there is any escalation from client side we discussed in weekly meetings and remediate accordingly. Having good experience on documentation to prepare is there any configuration done on particular server, also share with team members.   Having assigned a major task to move the database on Azure. Configured the Replication from On-premise to Azure Database.(80% task has been done) Configured Log-shipping for high availability of production database. Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges). Normalized the entire database according to business in order to improve the performance of database. Configured database mail and alerts to get real time update of SQL Database. Installed and configured PostgreSQL on production server (Ubuntu) and migrated required Databases from MS SQL to PostgreSQL on client’s requirement. Scheduled some critical jobs in shell scripting, like backups of DBs, migration of data from MS-SQL to PostgreSQL overnight on daily basis after office hours. Optimized the large size transactional databases, spilt the dependency from one to database to multiple database and from server to another server. Daily interact with developers is there any performance related issue, and work with them, troubleshoot accordingly. Daily monitoring all the database backup maintenance jobs and maintaining the disk space accordingly.
