  During my time at Grill'd, I started as a team member at the age of 17 and eventually worked my way up to becoming a senior team leader over the course of four years. In 2020, I was offered a promotion for a management role, where I had a wide range of daily tasks that allowed me to develop essential leadership and customer service skills.As part of my role, I engaged with a diverse range of consumers and worked towards meeting the daily membership activations for the store. I also became adept at conflict resolution, managing conflicts in person, on the phone, and through online software. Additionally, I was responsible for opening and closing the store and leading a large team of people for one of the busiest Grill'd venues in the state.I oversaw the balancing of cash registers, reconciled transactions, and deposited the establishment's earnings to the bank each day. I also had experience ordering and receiving stock for a high volume store, and preventing food spoilage by monitoring dates, rotating stock, and following proper storage procedures.As a senior team leader, I was responsible for training and motivating employees, creating exciting and engaging posts and content on the Workplace page to keep employees informed and inspired. Lastly, I worked on staff traineeships, mystery shop engagement, and restaurant reviews, ensuring that Grill'd maintained its high standards for customer service and food quality.Overall, my time at Grill'd was a valuable opportunity to develop my leadership, customer service, and conflict resolution skills while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.   As a peer support volunteer, I played a vital role in helping children come to terms with the realities of their parent's diagnosis and develop essential coping skills. As a member of the SKIPS program, I had the chance to work with children and young adults and promote positive mental health practices.   During my social media marketing internship with Destination Perth in 2022, I gained valuable digital marketing experience in the tourism industry. Throughout my time there, I learned to use a range of different software and tools to manage and create content for the business's Facebook and Instagram pages. Additionally, I was responsible for reporting the statistics from media pages, managing the website, and planning and posting blogs.One of my key responsibilities was creating events sent from a range of venues and clients across Perth to post on the business website. I also liaised with members and created content to meet their goals. My skills in digital art using Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva were put to use to create visually appealing graphics and content for social media. I also had the opportunity to contribute to photography and videography projects for Instagram Reels and TikTok videos.As a member of the team, I worked closely with colleagues to plan future campaigns and holiday planners to come out in 2023. Lastly, I was responsible for managing memberships and renewals, ensuring that members received the appropriate benefits and support from the business.
