  As Assistance Payments Worker & Hearings Coordinator, I was tasked with maintaining hundreds of applications and cases as well as determining applicant eligibility for financial assistance programs administered by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). I routinely verified information needed to approve services and processed food assistance, state of emergency relief, cash screening, and Medicaid applications.   As the statewide program coordinator and expert for the Transportation and Civil Engineering (TRAC) Program, this position maintains, manages, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates the success of the program. This position coordinates all statewide TRAC program activities with the regions, and Lansing bureaus, divisions, and offices, as well as all national TRAC activities with respect to the Michigan TRAC Program. In addition, coordinates and manages the Student Assistant TRAC internship program and the TRAC Design and Build Bridge Challenge; makes recommendations for updated program content to AASHTO; coordinates with the Michigan Department of Education to ensure all TRAC teacher training sessions meet state requirements, provides statewide coordination of TRAC training and support to middle and high school teachers, and maintains the required Department of Education paperwork.
