  Incident Analyst

  After I started to work on a Help Desk, it took me very little time to get interested in ITIL and SLA / KPI reporting methods. I soon found ITIL to be a very useful guide in my career. I was very eager to prepare calculation and reporting methods (SLA, KPI, productivity, quality) for my supervisors. After my promotion to Incident Analyst I became co-responsible for the definition of the Incident Management process, SLA’s and KPI’s and fully responsible for the development of measurement, calculation and reporting methods. The new project, thousands of users and the great amount of generated data required that I develop new methods of data selection and interpretation and prepare a database link analysis. To undertake this project with at most confidence I needed to acquire the knowledge of additional reporting software. I have also successfully developed a monitoring tool which alerts before a possible breach of SLA. I send out my reports to very satisfied users on three continents. I like to initiate tasks that are outside of the scope of my standard duties. I volunteered to support the Change Management and Problem Management processes by providing them with SLA reports. I also developed and implemented a constant quality improvement process which I have named the Continues Quality Assurance Process. Show less

Show less Utilizing IBM Cloud resources (DB2 Warehouse on Cloud and .PHP app on Cloud) and technology I've developed, built and released a front and back end production data input solution. The data, collected across all regions and accounts allows for never before available insight and comparison of COE's, Accounts, Teams and Regions. This quantitative tool is a remarkable asset for continuous improvement, provides solutions architects with information to create accurate cost cases, enables delivery leadership to manage workloads and the proper behaviors in their teams and a basis for data driven decision making.Worked with YourLearning (IBM's internal education team) and created an official training path for our team to develop SQL and online analytics tools skillsDeveloped a new buildpack that supports php app connections to db2 databases. IBM Cloud underwent an upgrade to cflinuxfs3. The used at that time buildpacks (drivers, which allowed for a connection between .php apps and DB2 databases, both located on IBM Cloud), were no longer compatible with the new environment and there was no available method to connect the 2 IBM Cloud components. I reached out and worked with IBM Cloud support, IBM specialists outside of my business unit and several individuals outside of IBM (github and other communities). I've put together the pieces of the puzzle the gave me and built a new working buildpack, which I made available to all interested.Designed and built ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes in a IBM DB2 Warehouse on Cloud for our team. Solved the problem of processing very large datasets that could not have been handled and restructured in Excel on local laptops. In some cases the duration of the process shrank down by 99.9% (from 20 hours to 24 seconds), in other cases running the same process on a laptop would not have been possible at all.
