Show less ▌Engineering Support: Provide engineering solutions to R&M as a part of Engineering Sustaining activity for Mud motors and RSS. Design Seals (O-rings, T-seals, Flex seals etc.), assembling tools, Flex subs, Rotor catchers and other down-hole drilling tools. Prepare documents for Assembly procedure, Build sheets and Check lists that help R&M to assemble and disassemble the tools.▌CFD Projects: Erosion Modeling:- Check for possible erosion areas and the level of erosion by CFD analysis.- Design tools for minimum erosion levels. CFD analysis for Moving mesh:- Check the tool for operating torque requirement during relative rotation- Optimize the tool cavity for minimum operating torque and flow rate requirement- Obtain the Position of poppet in Telemetry tool for given force applied by fluid New Tool Development for optimum flow rate and minimum Torque requirement. Created Macro for automate the multiple runs/mesh/.cas that saves huge CPU time. FEA Analysis:- FEA analysis of parts used in Non-Rotating housing of RSS.- Redesigned the loading on Non-Rotating Assembly to reduce the Slip in Hard formation.- Design and FEA analysis of Rotor Catcher used in Mud motor to catch the BHA in failure▌CAD Support: Created 3-D models and drawings of whole RSS tool in Solidworks from 2-D pdf drawings as input. Bring the Drawings and models as per company standards.▌Intellectual Property Stand:- We have filed 6 Invention Disclosures on Downhole Drilling tools and 5 of them has been approved under PCT filing and awaiting to be approved under US patent, while 1 is under review.
