  My responsibilities at Allstate included a wide range of office tasks including: handling customer payments and questions, documenting client profiles, screening phone calls and organizing office supplies. I was put in charge of a new technology project using state of the art software for documentation purposes. I compiled a company database of all customers documentation to drive a completely paperless record system. This organized all customer information concerning their accounts and aided in the retrieval/filing of all company documents.   Certified in first aid, CPR and rescue saves. Maintained safety and well being of pool patrons. Performed active drowning saves and provided first aid assistance. Continually performed maintenance and upkeep of aquatic facility. In my role as a lifeguard, I was able to practice hands-on confrontation management techniques that resulted in increased patron attendance. Throughout my lifeguarding and aquatic career, I was also able to coach (with my 13 years of competitive swimming experience) and teach private swim lessons. This lead to my own swim camp where I volunteered my time to a government funded program for migrant worker children. They were provided with free swim lessons and lunches for an entire week. During that time I thought beginner level swimmers all four competitive strokes, turning, diving aquatic games. My camp also included basic computer skills to the children in order to teach balanced student athletics. Show less
