      Activities and Societies: Graduated with highest honors. Member of Phi Theta Kappa. Volunteered as a tutor to struggling classmates. Program has an emphasis on web application and mobile application development. I learned MySQL, Python, Java, HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, Windows Server 2012, CASP Certification prep. There was also an emphasis early on towards customer service skills. I managed to ace this degree going part time (2 classes a quarter) while working a full-time day job and raising a family.

      Program had an emphasis on web development and mobile applications. There was also a large emphasis on SCRUM or Agile methodology. We delved deep into the inner-workings of Java, CSS, and HTML 5, PHP, MySQL, and web design. Worked on multiple team projects to produce applications for real clients.

      Starting as an Administrative assistant I worked my way into Credit and Human Resources functions until I finally moved into Inside Sales. In this position I supported at one point 4 different outside sales personnel by researching products, options, creating quotes, input orders, and follow said orders through the system to ensure accurate completion. I was also tasked with meeting and working with customers for both my sales personnel as well as retail walk-ins. During my time at BMC I also served as an un-official IT guy.
