  Marine Conservation Officer - Tun Mustapha Park

  Acting as the key person with expertise in coral reef ecology and conservation through leading impactful initiatives in Tun Mustapha Park (TMP), Sabah. Notably, I coordinated and led the coral health monitoring expeditions annually, and spearheaded the EU-Ocean Governance Coral Restoration Project, overseeing the deployment and monitoring of 1600 artificial reefs in TMP. Additionally, I Initiated and coordinated the development of the climate change adaptation action plan at sub-district and MPA levels, and conducted biannual sea surface temperature monitoring in TMP. My leadership in these endeavors underscores a proactive approach to coral reef conservation, contributing significantly to the resilience and sustainability of TMP's marine ecosystems. Show less
