  Completed a three day online internship on Engineering and Infrastructure by Bright Networks. The internship involved:- Taking part in skills sessions from Citrix, Amazon, Nestle, Rolls Royce, Atkins, PA Consulting and Vodafone- Designing a process to recycle Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), simulating a real life problem.   I support the staff working in the playrooms of the Nursery during their busiest times of the day. This involves providing care to the children by entertaining them and teaching them new things. The children are aged between 0 and 5 years old.Whilst working at the nursery it has been lovely to see how small things I can do can help other people.   Process Technology Placement Student

  During my placement year I was involved in a variety of commercial and collaborative projects across multiple industries such as Agriculture, Energy, Speciality chemicals and materials, Electronics, Automotive and Aerospace. I was responsible for producing key deliverables on behalf of CPI, ranging from scale-up calculations to design package reports. During my time at CPI I took the initiative to learn lots of new software, such as ImageJ. Being the only member of the process tech team having capability in this software, I became a point of call for others using this software and was asked to be involved in projects with other teams within CPI.Software: Visio, PEL, HYSYS, Aspen Plus, SketchUp, ImageJ, Python, GitHub Show less
