  Family mediator

  My experience as a Family Mediator has been enriched by my previous work as a mental health worker. I specialize in helping clients return to feeling safe and to regaining an open mindset after an impasse has come up. I use a combination of insight and narrative modalities to create a learning environment where clients can manage discomfort as a necessary part of the negotiation process. If I perceive that emotions are inhibiting a resolution-rather than keep feelings out of the conversation-I ask permission to bring them into the room so that they can be discussed and released, before resuming further decision making.
