  Oversee the effective planning, management, development, sustainability and growth for programs. Collaborate closely and create strategic partnerships with federal, state, county and other host organizations. This position supervises three staff, the Assistant Program Manger AmeriCorps Individual Placements, Assistant Program Manager Increasing Diversity in Environmental Careers and the Program Coordinator AmeriCorps Individual Placements, Fellowships and Internships. Oversee over 50 individual placement corpsmembers with various community partners. Examples of partnerships include energy conservation organizations, local government units, state agencies, and other nonprofits. As the Program Associate I supported over 320 AmeriCorps members and youth program participants with the Youth and Individual Placements Programs. I assisted with program administration, evaluations, data tracking, grant reporting and program orientations. Facilitated discussions with over 1,000 youth and young adults, obtaining input on their use of parks and trails. Developed reports for internal and external communications. Implement recruitment for the Conservation Corps MN & IA and MN Department of Natural Resources. Coordinated events that engage youth and families in outdoor recreation. This entailed communications with youth participants and parents/guardians. In addition, I coordinated recruitment, registration and transportation with St. Paul Public Schools to the events.
