  Developing deep learning algorithm to automatically segment induced pluripotent stem cells from large field-of-view microscopy images. Collaborating with researchers at Ohio State, Cleveland Clinic, and University of Iowa. Employing PyTorch Library/ TensorFlow to prepare U-Net model (neural network for image segmentation), training model and evaluating losses, and using trained model to segment new images.

  Served as engineering consultant for ophthalmologist at the Ohio State Eye and Ear Institute in both clinic and operating room. Evaluated CLMI/FLMI data (corneal curvature and thickness maps) at different timepoints to predict keratoconus progression in patients without the need for additional patient follow-up.
