This resulted in referrals to the program and partnering while working with victims of sexual assault.- Worked with over 100 sexual assault victims by providing counseling services, attending examinations at the hospital, reporting to the police, attending hearings and trials, or being available during interviews of youth. - Implemented a support group at a halfway house for women and a local Boys and Girls Club for victims of sexual assault. - Volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club as a part of my role by attending evening events or being available during the day. - Developed and taught sexual assault awareness and healthy relationship curriculum in the Eau Claire middle school system.- Collaborated with area professionals to create the first Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) that included: the police, district attorney, hospital staff, and other community members. This process action team put together policies and procedures on how to respond to victims of sexual assault and how to work together as a team. - Wrote press releases and gave presentations during Sexual Assault Awareness Month to increase awareness of sexual assault.
