Served in Engineering and Operations Department during the four year tour which was primarily the pre-construction and post-commissioning phase of new construction. After transferring off the ship in September 1989, spent two years at Fleet Combat Direction Systems Support Activity, Dam Neck, VA as a Computer Systems Analyst where I was a charter member of the Command's Process Action Team as Facilitator.
