      Activities and Societies: Volunteered for Reach out St. Rose, Harvest for the Hungry and many other volunteer opportunities in and around the Albany, NY area. My course description for Biology Education 7-12 at St. Rose was heavily focused on the sciences rather than the Education component. Science teachers at St. Rose had to have a higher GPA 3.2 or above than the students in the Pre-Med Biology program. Science classes were rigorous and very difficult for many to get through. St. Rose was a wonderful school and prepared me well for my career in the sciences.
