  Tasked with raising the attainment levels in Maths and English for free school meal pupils across North Somerset. Working alongside ten schools, I was involved in the construction and implementation of a dedicated programme to achieve the aforementioned goals. Alongside the creation of these programmes, I also facilitated several projects during my time with the Council. Highlights of which were 'Functional Skills for parents and children' and 'ICT in the Community.'Successfully created a bid paper and won Government funding for a cultural festival in North Somerset worth £50,000.   Project co-ordinator - mend

  Project Co-ordinator on pilot healthy living scheme in the South West of England. The project revolved around engaging families to access a healthier and more active lifestyle. My remit was to engage families from a economically disadvantaged background as a priority. By the end of the project, we had engaged dozens of families, with all seeing positive changes in their lifestyle.Due to the success of this pilot, there are now several more MEND programmes running across the South West of England.   Employed as a trainee manager at the Weston-super-Mare Majestic Wine store. Amongst others, employment tasks included; EPOS, customer interaction, stock counting, store managing, supporting other stores, visual merchandising, social media interactions, promotional sale activities and delivery duties. I also completed my WSET whilst employed here. I undertook extensive customer communication training.

  Contract manager for all third party technology contracts within the Directorate of Information (60 plus). This involved extensive supplier negotiation with each supplier to reduce cost whilst maintaining the standard expected for the Metropolitan Police. Approximate overall savings between £300-400k during my tenure.This role also included various dealings with the main ICT supplier for the MPS with regards to legal challenges and contract disputes/resolution. Successfully drove down costs to the targets set by my management.This role gave me the chance to attend several training sessions with SAP EBP / ERP and BI. I am now a confident and effective user of this technology. Show less
