  I worked as a Police Officer in a very diverse and multi cultural community in inner city Birmingham. During my short service I dealt with many challenging and difficult situations, ranging from neighbour disputes to acts of terrorism. I constantly risk assessed and problem solved and made decisions accordingly. I mainly worked as part of a neighbourhood policing team.

  I managed nine police forces liaising with our network of volunteers throughout each. I developed excellent working relationships with key departments and personnel, maximising business opportunities and enhancing our reputation. I delivered educational presentations and training to Officers and Staff raising awareness of our brand.I helped them understand their current financial position encouraging them to improve their situation and future financial welfare. I supported marketing campaigns co-ordinating collateral within each force, liaising with colleagues from our Marketing department. I liaised with other departments across the business and kept up to date with any new developments. I motivated and encouraged others within the team to achieve our goals and objectives. More recently, in the absence of a line manager, I volunteered to manage a number of supervisory tasks for the team. With data and facts and figures key to future planning, I advise Senior Management of how the department is performing, with efficiency and quality key in everything we do. With my Policing background I was able to efficiently and professionally deal with all manner of situations on 999 and 101 calls. Making life and death decisions to help the public in their hour of need.
