      As a part of the CEM environmental consultancy team, I was involved in numerous ecological research programs. Habitat assessments and flora identification relating to fire ecology were the primary focus, however this extended to studies relating to herpetology, avifauna, and mammalogy. This work included data collection and analysis, and the use of 4x4 equipment and GIS mapping systems to develop formal scientific reports.

      Operated by the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, the Victorian Bushfire Information Line functions as a callcentre providing emergency information during bushfire events. This position, initially spanning the 2012/13 fire season, led to a permanent position within the Customer Service Centre dealing with all department enquiries. This fast paced customer service environment required a strong work ethic, a can do attitude, and exceptional communication/interpersonal skills.
