      Operational director of a company engaged in chemicals and hazardous waste disposal (turnover USD 13 MM/yr), managing 35 person workforce covering two production facilities, including a liquid bulk storage terminal.– Directly responsible for compliance with Federal, state, and local environmental regulations, occupational safety and health issues.– Experienced in all aspects of hazardous materials/wastes handling and transport, environmental mitigation, response and remediation, reducing safety incidents and environmental mishaps and minimizing potential environmental liability risks. - Introduced Product Stewardship program, including cataloging and distributing of MSDSs, development and custom printing of product hazard labels, and hazard communication training at customer locations. – Designed and built 55,000 liter tank farm and bulk-to-drum facility for organic solvents storage, including secondary containment, vapor recovery and overfill protection.– Oversaw phase-out of halogenated and fluorinated hydrocarbon solvents (CHCs & CFCs) under Montreal Protocol, and replacement with low VOC and aqueous alternatives.– Developed facility pre-incident safety and emergency response plans, and coordinated with emergency responders and community representatives to mitigate effects of potential exposure.– Managed terminal operations emergency management plans, large quantity generator program, Title V, NPDES, and storm water and wastewater permits; TRI and Tier II reporting. – Prepared training programmes to build staff capacities in toxic chemical handling, care and transport of dangerous goods, proper disposal of wastes. – Managed fleet of liquid tank trailers.
